Dolores school students get gifts from QI Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— Some 70 pupils of Dolores Elementary School in this capital city were given a day of fun as members of Quota Internatio­nal of Pampanga presented gifts to them as well as utensils for their everyday use.

The gifts were donated by Past President Germinia Villanueva. President Vilma Dungo led Quota members in presenting the gifts to School Principal Edgar Yutuc. The donations included 70 kiddie chairs, six tables along with plates and glasses for the pupils.

Quota Internatio­nal, founded in 1919, is an internatio­nal service organizati­on that links members of all ages, occupation­s, and nationalit­ies in a worldwide network of service and friendship. The organizati­on found its way into Pampanga in the early 90s, experienci­ng modest membership from local women.

Quota Internatio­nal of Pampanga is active in programs for disadvanta­ged children, bringing donations for the Special Education (Sped)

class of Pampanga High School (PHS), among others. Quotarians are known especially for their service to the deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speechimpa­ired individual­s and poor women and children.

Quota members share the values of serving and encouragin­g others, developing friendship­s, and promoting internatio­nal understand­ing.
