BMW Motorrad hosts rider training in Pampanga

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— BMW Motorrad, the premier motorcycle brand of German automaker BMW, on Tuesday kicked off its three-day rider training at the LausGroup Complex, Jose Abad Santos Avenue in this city.

Led by professional instructors utilizing BMW motorcycles exclusively, the program which features on and off-road courses, was participated in by representatives from BMW Pampanga, one of the leading dealerships under the LausAutoGroup.

BMW Motorrad Specialist Zaf Tanpinco shared that the event is designed to equip their dealers with up-to-date information about BMW Motorrad products and its features, as well as let them experience firsthand the capabilities of each unit.

“This internal activity caters specifically to our dealers. This is the first time we are doing this year. Last June, we also spearheaded a training, but that one was dedicated for the clients and motorcycle enthusiasts in the province,” he sai d.

“Today, part of the training is the classroom session that allows our dealers to know more about the background of BMW and Motorrad as a company. We also familiarize them with the BMW motorcycles model line-up and new technologies that are part of each motorcycle. With this, they will have a deeper appreciation and understanding of the units and they then can better translate it for the customers,” he added.

After the said session, Tanpinco noted that participants also get to learn basic bike control and techniques plus practical and technical skills, which they applied during the actual riding session in and outside the LausGroup Complex.

The executive concluded that BMW Motorrad hopes to collaborate with Premier Cars BMW Pampanga for more trainings in the future.

“We hope to be able to conduct more rider trainings soon and we look forward to doing it here again at the LausGroup Complex, given that the area is conducive for this kind of activity,” he relayed.
