San Simon’s 2nd most wanted arrested

SAN SIMON - The second most wanted personalit­y in this town was nabbed in his hideout during the conduct of operation Manhunt Charlie the local authoritie­s here recently.

This town’s head cop Chief Inspector Louie Gonzaga said the fugitive identified as Cris Bucu alias “Kumander Cris/ Jun-Jun”, 45, a resident of Barangay Concepcion this town, was arrested through the police’s implementa­tion of his standing warrant of arrest.

Gonzaga said that Bucu is listed as Number 2 in the most wanted persons in the town due to a murder case where he was pronounced guilty by Judge Lucina AlpezDayao­n of the Regional Trial Court Branch 54 in Macabebe, Pampanga.

Gonzaga said that the arrest of Bucu was an accomplish­ment for the local police as he was long been a subject of police operations after he went into hiding since his arrest warrant was released by the court.

Meanwhile, Police Regional Office III Director Chief Superinten­dent Amador Corpus lauded the efforts of the San Simon police which resulted to the arrest of one of the notorious criminals in town.

“This successful operation is the result of concerted inteldrive­n operations and diligent efforts of all police units in the regions to arrest all lawless elements in the community and we particular­ly recognize the efforts of San Simon in this accomplish­ment,” Corpus sai d.
