AUF studes excel at the 5th National Criminology Students Congress
AUF was hailed overall champion in the academic competitions, while Angelenean 4th year Criminology student Audrey Shane Bondoc was cited one of the Most Outstanding Criminology Students of the Philippines (Top 1).
Meanwhile, another outstanding 4th year Criminology student Ashlene Eve Pineda was hailed as Ambassadress of Criminology 2018 and Ms. Stratrev 2018. She was also awarded Best in Production Number during the competition.
Furthermore, AUF’s Debate Team which also includes Pineda (2nd Runnerup, Best Debater) as well as Dheneil Troi Power, Venice Aubrey Gantan, Ricky Sebastian (Researcher), and Jessie Abique (Manager) bested out other teams and went on to win 1st place.
For the Oratorical Speech contest, Power emerged as Champion while 1st year Criminology student Syrel Reyes placed 3rd RunnerUp. Extemporaneous Speech contestants Marlon Domingo (BS Crim III) and Japeth Zafra (BS Crim I) finished off as 1st runner up and 3rd runner up, respectively.
For the Paper Presentation, Best Paper Award were given to Edward Salomon (BS Crim IV) who grabbed the 1st Runner-Up and Best Presentor Award while Evita Nadja Bayubay (BS Crim IV) was able to win as 3rd runner up.
The AUF College of Criminal Justice Education is the only PAASCU Level 3 accredited program and the only Center of Excellence (COE) in Central Luzon. In December 2017, an Angelenean ranked 4th nationwide at the Criminology Licensure Exams.
o big or go home—this was the battlecry of eleven Criminology students from An geles University Foundation (AUF) who recently bagged national awards at the 5th National Criminology Students Congress held in Naga City, Bicol last September 27 to 28.
