START WORKING, QUIT COMPLAINING

-

WILMA D. DANTES

Everyday is a blessed day. Let us be grateful as we wake up early in the morning. There are many things to thank our God. It is written in I Thessalonians 5:18 “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus to you.” These may be blessings, trials or circumstances which will later lead us to something worthy.

Whatever our job, work profession or vacation, let us give our best foot forward. Work with excellence and enthusiasm. We will not only feel happy and satisfied at the end of the day when we exerted our best in the name of service. Number of hours doesn’t mean the quality in working but the deeper sense of dedication in the name of service.

As a worker, let us always think that God is our boss and His rewards are unlimited and His disciplinary actions to our misdeeds are just and fair. If we think we do not enjoy in our choice of profession, let us QUIT. We will not progress in our work if we feel that it is a burden every time we go to our workplace. The lifestyle of a happy worker is someone who thinks of his/ her contribution in the company rather than competition. He / She is ready to help the co-workers on their queries or needs. He keeps an awesome relationship with the colleagues.

To keep work light, work with enthusiasm, and always think the positive effect of work when done wholeheartedly. If we think we are not in the mood to do the task, rest for a while then set the mind to start a responsibility entrusted to us.
