It also concerns the reasons that underlie their involvement or non-involvement in different activities. Students can be equally motivated but for very different reasons.

This is all possible though proper and effective motivational strategies.

There are simple ways to motivate students. First thing to consider is encouragement. As teachers, we should learn how to provide their source of motivation. Be enthusiastic. Praise your students often. Recognize them for their contributions. If your classroom is a friendly place where students feel heard and respected, they will be more eager to learn.

You can as well motivate them if they get involved in the classroom. Make participating fun by giving each student a job to do. We can as well motivate them through rewards system or just simply appreciating their achievements in the class.

Becoming creative in the classroom can also influence their will to excel in the classroom. create a warm, stimulating environment. It is as well essential to draw connections between the teacher and the students to ensure rapport in the educative pr ocess.

Through this, good and positive classroom climate is established. Classroom climate is important. We need to create an atmosphere that is open and positive. What is more, to reinforce motivation to learn, we should give them positive feedback that supports students’beliefs that they can do well.
