However, teachers faced several issues and struggles in implementing these 4 Cs because there are still passive students that will seldom interact within the assigned group. Most of the time leaders seem to dominate the activity, researching, writing, and reporting of the output. This still may result in poor academic performance of many students because classroom based activities use paper and pen in writing the activity’s output. It is often observed that many students are inattentive, uncooperative and having problems when being asked about the activity. This problem poses difficulty and stress to the teacher in managing the classroom activity and evaluation of group work on whether the student participated or not.

Teachers can also write on the worksheets to motivate students to do their best but it is also important to give constructive feedback for suggestions, corrections, and compliments on each work to further encourage students to diligently collaborate in the group. For those students who may have difficulties, assure them that a teacher is always available to give help. In addition, peer feedback can also be assigned to students for cooperative and social learning enabling them to discover other’s ideas and mistakes.
