UNITY IN THE FIELD OF TEACHING

-

As a Teacher, stress is really part of our daily lives. Actually it is common thing to every human. It can also even come from exciting or positive events. Stress may affect us in different ways such as thoughts, feelings, behaviors, physical and most specially our spiritual life. It also affects our attitude on how to become effective and efficient teacher. Every day, our pupils help us in cleaning our room or our surroundings as well.

One time, I watched one of my pupils while he is using a broomstick. It then inspired me to relate broomstick as a simple lesson which popped up into my mind. I do hope it will somehow inspire you.

A broomstick has a handle that can hold the entire parts of the broom, knowing that each and every one has the task that needs to be done, our potentials and own abilities help us to do our work easily. Try to relax and do the work one step at a time, think that God gave you a lot of people who can help you to do your work. You are not alone in this word; all you need to do is be true to yourself. You can’t do the job alone. You just need to admit that you have your own weaknesses, but remember do not isolate yourself to the others neither compare yourself to your co teachers or think that you can do better than them, removed the BIG “I” to your mind or else it will just add to your stress.

Broom Stick has its own tie, without it, it would be impossible to use it. Remember that in a school we are only one team, learn how to unite and cooperate in every activities, maybe you have a better ideas and plans that can contribute to the success of certain activities or plans to your school.

Why do we need to hit the upper part of the broom before we use it? As a human, sometimes we need to experience trials in order for us to learn, God allows us to experience heartaches in order to grow, We may not even understand why certain things to happen, It might be a bad relationship to your boss or a co teachers, but try to look at the good side and appreciate that heartaches and failures make you a better person. The point is you have learned. Try to admit and correct your mistakes, have a teachable spirit or else you miss a part of your blessings who are the people around you. Learn how to appreciate them even the person who don’t like you, because they just remind your on your imperfections because you live to the imperfect world.

Enjoy your life and be fruitful.

Teachers in an early age must possess adequate preparations and qualifications. Teaching the wrong information must put the foundation of early children at risk. What the children learn at an early age will develop in their minds and eventually apply in doing.

How important of teaching in an early age? Remember the word “Tabularasa”? A child comes in school likes an empty bottle. Whatever knowledge and skills you teach them it’s like pouring water in an empty bottle. Once the bottle is full any wrong information you pour will not be corrected anymore. They are great imitator, easy to teach, easy acquire what we say and what actions we do. Acquiring positive behavior can also imitate by them.

The importance of teaching in an early age must have an adequate and proper preparations so that children will have good directions towards learning. Qualifications of teachers must be properly screened so that children will acquire quality education.

Children in an early age must have quality education through providing curriculum suitable for them, learning environment conducive to learning, school free from distruction, and above all teachers who have hearts for teaching.

Most of all, teachers in an early age must bridge any gap or hindrance in putting the children at risk by integrating how teaching is important.
