COUNCIL # 13853: DIVINA PASTORA KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FAST TRACK AND SACRIFICIAL ACTION

The four core values of the Knights of Columbus UNITY, CHARITY, FRATERNITY and PATRIOTISM are the revolving bases of their action to fulfill their promise to the organization. Like different organizations, the council experienced ups and downs, pros and cons to pursue their mission - vision.

In the past years of existence, they just kept on recruiting members to light the spirit of helping the parish program and projects. There are four degrees to face for a member to be a full - pledge knights of the said council. Some survived to get their 4th degree as a potential and pro-active member of the Knights of Columbus. Sometimes the knights felt gloomy for them to do their functions and do some sacrifices. When these things happen, one will stand to actively boost their morale and volunteer conviction to the realization of the primordial goal. To keep the spirit alive , PGK Bong D. Castro remain standing to focus and remind each members to participate in the ongoing projects like: Sustaining the cleanliness of the cemetery, support the parish for every projects and do good things like necrology to pray for the eternal blessing of the soul.

First and foremost targets are saying the rosary, attending mass every Sunday and on the 4th Sunday of the month they were the choir and usherettes in celebrating the liturgy. Also, they were task to maintain the catholic cemetery and keep it clean for the whole year. In this time the elected grand knight is Apolinario P. Duncil. Like any other organizations 3rd degree schedule will be in Meycauayan Convention Center followed by 4th degree study will be at Malolos, Bulacan. At the moment, there are 150 active members of the council. Everybody is welcome to attend the schooling.
