GREENPEACE

-

“Clean and green” a phrase that has been overused through the years. A phrase that has spread awareness about our environment; awareness that has declined over time.

In this era, environmental issues and concerns have been interesting topics among individuals in the entire world.

As the world’s population increases, the chance of getting more connected with our environment also increases. But how exactly? The answer is AWARENESS a word that is deeply connected with this issue. It is what we need before we can start taking brisk strides toward saving our environment.

Being aware can ignite our desire to show concern about our environment. Our Desire to share and spread awareness on this matter. Our strong desire for a clean and green environment that will act as a strong foundation of hope for the future.

Isolating one’s self with this matter is a big NO. Dealing with our environment is a process. The hope for a clean and green environment is still at its infancy. Just like babies, we need to nourish it with the correct and suitable care.

We need to feed everyone the knowledge on how to be an environment saver. We should remember that small act leads to a big acts.

First, change should start in ourselves. Yes, we need to motivate ourselves to save the environment.

Just simply throwing our garbage in the right trash bin is a big help. Instead of driving, we can just walk or ride a bicycle if the destination is nearby. With that, we can help lessen the air pollution. Saving and conserving water is also an A+ . With these small act, we may inspire others to do the same.

After starting the change in ourselves, we can start to initiate the change in others. And we can do this through education.

Education isn’t limited to formal schooling. It applies to all kinds of learning. Educating other people through the use of varied media is a big leap for this advocacy. Being informed and educated may show a person right path to saving our environment.

One of our main goals in this advocacy is to educate the new generation. They are individuals of pure potential. While they are young, we need to equip them with awareness and concern for our environment. Only when we have done that can we say that our environment is in good hands.

Finally, we need to move as one. Unity may achieve the goals of this advocacy. Being as one for our environment means showing love for it. As we all know, doing something out of love makes it worth all the effort. And besides, we ARE part of the environment. What better reason than that to keep our harmonious relationship with each other. What is a problem, love is a solution.

As part of this wonderful environment, I am hoping that this advocacy will be continued through the years. I hope it will reach the goals to the fullest. We are responsible for our environment, so we better make a move before it’s too late.
