INNERMOST REFLECTION

-

Teaching covers everything— learning, disciplining, inspiring, and breaking. It is a huge responsibility to perform. The topsy-turvy classrooms, the noisy learners, the unending reports, the tasks place in your head and the narrow-minded people around you are some of the many reasons to give up. However, giving up is only accounted for personal decision over the challenging world of teaching.

Consistency is an important weapon of a good educator. In a way, it’s either you gain or loss from everyday duty to portray in increasing happiness to your learners. In the end, both will contribute in treasured time spent together more than you realize the last frontier are them— their future. It is normal that in the beginning, withdrawal symptoms in disciplining the learners may occur such as irritability, depression, anger and hatred but through pleasant conversation mix with laughter and humour, everything falls in its right place and position. The simplicity and lightness in dealing classroom problems can supersede negative vibes. Probably, the best plan for that is respecting ones ideas while allowing everyone‘s body chemistry to adjust.

Amidst all the billion problems in educational system, adopting and embracing not only the positive sides but even the worst sides of it can reduce stress to all educators. After all, it is on how you handle certain circumstances that come along the journey. No one can actually dictate you to do something without your consent.

Nowadays, there are reported cases of educators who withdraw, leave and even fight back in the department of education. They become bitter, unresponsive, rebellious, sullen and hostile. However, never judge and blame their decision. The feelings of inadequacy are spread among them. Things may appear unfair and hopeless but they are better than you look and imagine. Somehow, they are not able to deal with their feelings openly and honestly with the problems they had encounter so they behave differently. Similarly, learners with saturated minds need an educator to exert effort so they may be reached. Remember, as long as there are educators who open the doors of love and concern to all misbehaved learners, the better they will act in firm and loving manner.

Each new struggle means new fears to face. Stay calm and still, act maturely during the stressful times. Keep in mind that of all the traumatic experiences will repay since you exalted and emulated the behaviour in years to come for the future of your learners. Work out in excellence and build bridge to all lost individual souls. The secret is trust in the divine power that His intervention will influence the outcome of every young learner.
