CAREER GUIDANCE FOR GRADE 10 STUDENTS

The Department of Education (DepEd) is implementing variety of advocacies and programs for the grade 10 students on their preparations in making decisions In choosing their Senior High School (SHS) tracks. Pursuant to DepED Order No.41, s.2015 entitled Senior High School Career Guidance Program and Early Registration.

Career Guidance Modules were given to the grade 10 advisers for them to facilitate and to deliver the three (3) modules entitled: Module 1 Embarking on Journey of Self-Awareness; Module 2 Examining the Destinations, and Module 3 Charting your Own Course. Every module is composed of Introduction, Preparations, Session Proper, Conclusion and Closing. The interests of students and the vast information given from Career Guidance Program will strengthen and will acknowledge our Grade 10 learners’talents, personalities and skills for them to be more ready for Kto12.

The significance of this CGP for Grade 10 students will really help them to develop their decision-making from simple options to a complex decisions, and to value the self-awareness in the process according to one’s interest.

In line with the CGP, experienced persons will complete the mentioned program of our learners’paths through the participation and the assistance of the Guidance Counselor/ Designate, the Youth Formation Unit of the School Governance and Operation Division.
