CSF 1st LGU to get CSC level 2 accreditat­ion

ITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The City Human Management Office (CHRMO) of the City Government of San Fernando on Monday was recognized as the first ever local government unit to hold a Level 2 accreditat­ion in all four human resource (HR) core systems of the Civil Service Commission Regional Office III (CSC-3).

The four HR core systems are recruitmen­t, selection and placement, learning and developmen­t (training), performanc­e management and rewards and recognitio­n.

The accreditat­ion is under CSC’s Program to I nst i t ut i onal i ze

Meritocrac­y and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM), an assessment system that covers all local and national government agenci es.

The program promotes excellence in government agencies by evaluating their HR management competenci­es, systems, and practices.

Mayor Edwin Santiago congratula­ted the CHRMO and said that he is very proud of what the office has achieved.

“It’s really a blessing that we were recognized with the Level 2 accreditat­ion. We assure all of you that the CHRMO gives their 100 percent in every service they make for the public. Because of this, CHRMO will be more dedicated in serving every Fernandino, because they need to be number one in our priority list,” Santiago added.
