IMPORTANCE OF EMERGENCY DRILLS

Calamities have decapitated buildings whether big or small. It has wreaked havoc all around the world leaving nothing but destruction in its path. These forces of nature have taken lives of human beings and animals. Infrastructure and agricultural is also destroyed by these forces of nature. The destruction they leave behind is very costly. Some calamities are unknown when it is going to happen but there are some that are man-made.

The importance of having emergency drills is very helpful in saving lives when calamities occur. Fires can be prevented and lives can be saved. Educating people about emergency drills can be a helpful tool that they can use throughout their lives. Emergency drills at school are a vital for the safety of the students. Teachers should educate the students of what to do in case of forces of nature occurs. Actual exercise drills should be practiced as if there is an actual fire, earthquake or flood. The drills should be timely, orderly and thoroughly. Every student should be accounted for after and before the practice drill. The Bureau of Fire Department and staff of the school should coordinate with each other to have a successful and effective emergency drill. These drills will certainly help the students be prepared and they would know what to expect when forces of nature occurs.
