BEYOND SATISFACTION
RACHELLE D. LADRILLO
Cliché as it may seem but the world has already accepted that no profession can be compared with teaching. It is the mother of all profession for they will not exist if they will not go under the supervision and guidance of a noble teacher.
Aside from the spotlight, what makes teaching fulfilling is the product or the kind of individuals that will be produced someday. We hone skills and make them think to the best of their abilities. Teachers make pupils work and bring out the best in them to the point that the will realize all the things that they can do.
Teaching produces the future citizens that hold the future of the world. Little by little we contribute meaningfully in ensuring that we give better future for these children who go in and out of our classroom. We are also parents. We take care of these young generations even though it is already beyond our responsibility. We are selfless for we thing of their welfare rather than ours.
Despite these herculean tasks, teachers never ask for recognition. We are already happy seeing these kids fulfill their own dreams and we became part of it. It completes us. It is beyond satisfaction.
