Teachers are the primary support of the learners in the school, while the school heads are the pillars of strength of the school and the source of technical assistance of the teachers.

To ensure that each teacher can ensure that each pupil will master the necessary competencies prescribed in the curriculum guide is one of the primary roles of the school. It implies that school heads must be adept in classroom teaching before they can provide suggestions to teachers on what to do in improving their teaching. Still, it is a paramount consideration on how to the instructional supervision effectively.

An individual knows himself or herself more than anyone else in the world. It is also the same for us. Teachers know their strengths and they are aware about the things they need to improve in their teaching. Even though school heads are given the power to mentor teachers, it is still salient to consider how the teacher wants it to be done. Getting the insight and idea of the teacher is very important because at the end of the day, it is still the teacher who will apply the suggestions in the next classroom he or she will be handling. Once the agreement is done and the next observation is set, the school head will carefully observe the suggestions if they are executed in the classr oom.

The suggestion from the school heads will be presented once there is a minimal or no improvement in the teaching-learning process. Instructional supervision should be a give and take scenario where the two parties are both given the chance to express their ideas and suggestions. It makes the instructional supervision effective.
