TIME MANAGEMENT

-

REGINA Q. QUIAZON

There is a saying that “Time is Gold”. Every minute is very precious and important. Especially if your schedule is stressful. Teachers are prone to stress. They have to accomplish rush and due reports, updating learners’data through LIS, preparing school forms, encoding your DLL/ DLP with IMs, and even working with other non-related teaching matters. What more if you need to accomplish everything in a short period of time? There is a 100% chance that you’ll cram on your work due to pressure.

How to finish your work on time without cramming? As a teacher, we need to manage our time wisely. We can’t tell if there’ll be an unexpected work to happen that needs to do. How important is time management? How will you manage your time wisely? Time management is very substantial in order for you to use your time effectively or productively, especially at work. In managing time, determine which of your works need to be prioritized first. If it’s urgent then do it first prior the time schedule. Don’t wait for the due date before you accomplish it. Make a time table or plan to know what are the things you need to do. You can even post a sticky note so you won’t forget it. Another is follow strictly your plan. Don’t skip and don’t make excuses for you not to accomplish it as stated on your plan. Lastly, have a self-discipline. Challenge yourself that you can finish your work ahead of time. Have a positive outlook in life. Remember, discipline is very important in achieving your goals and most importantly, it’s the key to your success!
