-

ANGELES CITY - Staying true to its sense of responsibility towards the community, Stronghold Insurance Company Inc. donated 240 pieces of patient gowns to the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC) here recently.

The event, which is Stronghold’s second CSR activity for this year, was attended by Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., RLMMC Medical Director Dr. Froilan A. Canlas, together with Stronghold’s President and General Manager Romulo I. Delos Reyes Jr.

The said activity was organized by Bowditch B. Mercado, Stronghold’s Manila Branch Manager, with the support and participation of Stronghold Insurance Company Inc.’s NCR and Luzon Branch Managers.

Mayor Lazatin, in his speech, emphasized how grateful he is to Stronghold for their donation. He likewise declared that alongside Stronghold’s support, RLMMC will continue with their mission of providing quality healthcare and medical services to the citizens of Pampanga, especially now with the hospital’s renovation in prospect.

Delos Reyes, on the other hand, said that if anything, Stronghold is more thankful for having been given the opportunity to provide help. He added that the company wouldn’t be reaching its 60th anniversary if it weren’t for the people in the community, and that this CSR practice was simply their own way of giving back to society.

Corporate success and social welfare are dependent on each other, and this proves true for Stronghold Insurance Company, Inc. This CSR activity is just one of the many initiatives of Stronghold in preparation for their 60th anniversary celebration.
