Wyndham Destinatio­ns opens new corporate centre

CLARK FREEPORT - Wyndham Destinatio­ns on Friday celebrated the opening of a modern, purpose-built regional office in Clark Freeport, Pampanga, to support its expanding Philippine­sbased team and its growth across Asia Pacific.

Wyndham Destinatio­ns (NYSE: WYND) is the world’s largest vacation ownership and exchange company, boasting more than 220 vacation ownership resorts and 4,300 vacation exchange properties in over 110 countries. The company is based in Orlando, Florida, and has two business lines: Wyndham Vacation Clubs and RCI Exchanges.

The P150 million office building can accommodat­e up to 800 staff with morning and evening schedules. It features expansive working areas, seven meeting pods, four training rooms, a caféstyle canteen, and a games room.

“Today’s opening is an exciting milestone for our business as it gives this important regional support team a brand new, permanent home,” said Barry Robinson, President and Managing Director, Internatio­nal Operations, Wyndham Vacation Clubs.

“Our Philippine­s team has an important function, serving our four other corporate offices across Asia Pacific, along with 20 preview centres across the region and our ever-expanding management portfolio. It also recently began supporting the global headquarte­rs in the USA. With Wyndham Destinatio­ns’evolving customer base around the world, our Clark office will continue to support the company’s growing global footprint,” he added.

More than 50 people gathered for the opening celebratio­n including Singapore based Robinson; Australian based Liam Crawley, Chief Financial Officer, Wyndham Destinatio­ns Asia Pacific; along with representa­tives from the global headquarte­rs office.

Wyndham Destinatio­ns Asia Pacific began in Clark in 2016 with five employees and, in just three years has grown its local workforce to more than 300 team members. Under local entity, Wyndham Services Asia Pacific (Philippine­s), Inc., it employs staff in a broad range of fields, including accounts payable, finance, corporate marketing, customer experience, human resources, informatio­n technology, and more.
