The Cs of Education
Mora S. Ramos
The country needs an education system that encourages and motivates students, providing them with the learning opportunities they need to reach their potential. This means implementing a curriculum of practical learning alongside with the application of theories and concepts. The three Cs. of Education can be shown inside the classroom.
CHANGE. A good education can change anyone, however, a good teacher can change everything. Positive changes should be available inside the classroom. The ability to change mistakes and negative experiences in the classroom will result to better academic performance. Behavioral change is also a must, teaching the students the proper way to behave in public is a must, this is the reflection of their learning.
COMPASSION. Love for education. Teachers must inspire the students to love what they do inside the classroom. When you love what you do, motivation comes in. Students will stay in a loving environment and they will appreciate learning. Understanding the nature of education requires more than knowledge, it takes compassion.
CARE. Sharing is caring. When students learn how to care, they share what they know and experience. A caring learning environment promotes positive responses towards the importance of education.
Students needs compassion for them to learn how to care and bring positive changes in the society.
