Challenge of Education

JOKER R. CAO

-

Our national hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal, saw education as the key to a person’s development and collectively for an educated nation, the key to a meaningful independence and progress. Education is not only an accomplishment of lessons, obtaining degrees or diplomas. It is a learning that a person becomes a responsible and moral individual.

Our country has an insight of good governance to solve the basic problems that mankind needs today…education. It is now time to focus on helping and healing the nation through education establishing better education to the students who are depending on education as their weapon to face the challenging and competitive world.

It is now time to invest for a better and quality education. Today, our country is in the process of reviewing bills to create more positive outputs on education. It is also the time to create more programs to meet the demands of the students who believe that education is the only way to be competent enough to meet the standards of global competitiveness. On the other hand, our government is implementing acts and laws to improve the basic education curriculum and tries to meet the demands of crowded schools and the shortage of school materials all over the country which greatly affect the learning process.

With this, we continue to believe in education. At the same time, we are awed with the challenging tasks of parents, educators, learning institutions amidst a changing culture and way of life where wrong becomes right. We have a great challenge of transformation in our hands through knowing the importance of education. Our country is truly challenged in improving its plans and programs and offer standard quality education.
