As expected, professional teachers should possess the both personal and professional attributes as this identifies the professionalism and career advancement of teachers.
Teachers' exceptional qualities play a very significant, lifelong influence in the lives of their students. Remarkably, the personal and professional attributes they possess impacts students as well as this can bring career advancement.
Apparently, personal qualities such as a positive and caring attitude, fairness and respect for students, enthusiasm, and dedication for work significantly influence students. In this sense, they gain high respect from students and serve as role models on students that contribute greatly to students' achievements as well as career advancement. Thus, when one possesses these, there is personality development that is necessary for work as a professional.
On the other hand, on professional attributes, distinguished professional teachers' have effective discipline skills, promote positive behaviours in the classroom, create an overall sense of respect in class and has a good classroom management skills. This means that the professional teachers have exceptional professional qualities that impacts their overall teaching performance, students' academic achievements and career advancement.
Capturing the essentialities of the above-mentioned, personal and professional developments are equally important to be possessed by a distinguished professional.
As such, both personal and professional characteristics of teachers should be well-defined as they perform their function in and out of the classroom and to their entire workplace. Hence, their exceptional personal and professional attributes and development portray their expertise in their profession and certainly define them as reputable professionals in their workplace.
