WEBINARS: NEW NORMAL AMONG TEACHERS

Due to the pandemic and limited interaction of educational institutions, different schools and organizations offer free webinar to teachers. Webinar is an online presentation or seminar that takes place on the internet. It allows the participants to watch and listen to various speakers with different goals and topics. These organizations aim to lead the country to realize the potential of online learning and education in this crisis.

University of the Philippines is one of the schools that offers free webinar among teachers that includes Google Classroom Online Teaching, Virtual Classrooms, Designing Learning in Online Teaching, Assessment in Online Teaching, Quality Assurance in Online Teaching and many others.

Vibal Group is also one of the organizations that offers a free webinar for teachers. The organization’s goal is to empower teachers with their pedagogical skills and help students develop literacy and productivity amidst pandemic.

Lastly, DepEd Philippines stands with the belief that learning opportunities shall be available anytime both for teachers and students as well. The organization page via Facebook also offers free webinars that are promising and engaging for the participants.

Truly, nothing, not even a virus can stop education in our country. The abovementioned organizations are just few among many other available programs that will help every individual to be informed. Hence, there is no reason for teachers not to learn strategies on how to cope with this so called new normal given that a lot of opportunities await them.
