-

The third pregnancy of Lara Quigaman brings a different experience for her and Marco Alcaraz. After working so much the last time, this one let her rest more.

Both agreed that being locked in together has tested and strengthened their bond as a couple, especially now with their third son coming soon in September.

Marco said,"Ngayon kasi, t al agang magkakasama kami sa buong pregnancy. "It's a blessing din sa amin na magkakasama kami. Mas nag-bond kami as a couple and as a family."

Lara said she appreciates her husband's patience at this time more than ever, "Mahaba talaga pasensya ni Marco at ako, maiksi pala pasensiya ko. Pero, you know, grateful talaga kami for the time together kasi nga, before, sobrang busy."

Marco added, "Kung mahaba pasensiya mo before, kailangan mas mahaba ngayon kasi alam natin kung gaano kahirap mabuntis, di ba? Let them feel good... We're enjoying each other’s company talaga." Lara chimed in, "Na-discover namin na mahal pa rin pala namin isa't-isa kahit buwisit na buwisit kami ."

For the past few months, the actor has been giving his pregnant wife a break from her regular household duties. Marco gave an example, "Kapag grocery, ako lang mag-isa." Lara, however, quipped, "Lagi kami naka-video call."

But he clarified, "First few groceries, naka-video call. Ngayon, okay na. Medyo alam ko na mga bibilhin ko." According to Lara, Marco is also in charge of their sevenyear-old son Noah for his "homeschooling, sa pagturo ng mga lessons," while she attends to their second son Tobias.

She remarked, "Si Tobias. medyo clingy pa siya sa akin." This is the first time for Lara to experience almost the entire period of her pregnancy while staying home. The beauty queen-turned-actress said, "You know, God is really good din naman kasi if you just look at the good things, marami pa rin talaga makikita...Parang na-enjoy ko talaga iyong pagrest. Mas nakakatulog ako nang mas mahaba, mas nakaka-rest ako nang mas mahaba. So in a way, kahit walang work, nakakapag-rest kami. Before kasi, with my past two pregnancies, nagwo-work talaga ako. Lalo na with my second kasi work ako up to halos manganak na ako."

At the time of her second pregnancy in 2018, Lara was in the cast of the ABS-CBN series Bagani, which ran from March to August 2018. In fact, the actress nearly fainted on the set because of her pregnancy. Lara also appeared in the series Halik, which ran from August 2018 to September 2019.

The Kapamilya talent gave birth to Tobias in September 2018. A toddler now, how is he doing? Lara said, "Very good. By God's grace, okay naman lahat kahit na hindi ganun ka-regular ang check-up with the doctor. Okay naman. Healthy-healthy naman." Facing the reality of an all-boy household, Lara said good-humoredly, "Accept na namin na never na magiging malinis ang bahay nami n."

On a serious note, Marco added, "Pinagpa-pray namin na sana hindi sila magkaaway masyado. Sana paglaki nila, maging parang barkada sila. Close sila. Kapag may umaway sa kanila, kampihan."

The couple is considering the name Moses for their future son. Lara plans to give birth via elective C-section.
