GRADUATION BLUES

-

RALPH EMERSON L. RATON

Graduation is typically the beginning of a new adventure, contrary to what we frequently imagine, which holds true when it comes to our educational path. Does this imply that learning is a lifelong endeavor? Yes, this is accurate. Commencement is defined as a beginning or start. When I was younger, I made the mistake of believing that after you graduate from primary, high school, or college, everything is over. Absolutely the opposite was true.

How do we value completing a degree? Do we believe that education will help us solve our problems? The majority of the poorest Filipinos believe that education may help us improve our condition in life. It acts as the ray of hope at the end of the dark tunnel. Although it is one way to see education, it still depends on how we use it to advance and improve our society. Jose Rizal, our national hero, suggested that education could free our nation from the snare of poverty in his words.

Learning is dynamic. We need to implant this in the brains of our children. Our children must be taught that learning is an ongoing process. Learning should not begin and end inside the classroom's four walls. Making ensuring that education is useful in students' daily life is its only objective. Because of this, educators must localize their lessons to provide students the opportunity to apply what they are learning. The kids will do this to make education a part of their life rather than a task they must complete. Graduation is a reward and a memorable occasion to treasure.
