"KABATAAN NGA BA ANG PAG- ASA NG BAYAN?"

GEMMA G. MICLAT

-

It was one of my favorite line given by the legendary Jose P. Rizal stating that the youth nowadays will be the hope of our country for they will be the reason of the success and a high economic status in our country. But as time passed by, do the youth really accomplish their responsibilities from the past, their big part in changing the rotten system of our country? Youths and students are expected to excel in any part that can contribute to the success of our country. Every student must be responsible, persuasive, courageous, honest and must possess a strong heart who is dedicated in succeeding in a good way. Here are the four deadly *not so deadly literally* sins for a student that prevents their part to be one of the hope of the country. ? Cheating It is an irresponsible act of copying answers from another student. As a student, you must avoid cheating for it only creates a cheater not the one who will help our country rise. ? Plagiarism It is also an irresponsible way of taking credits to someone's writing property. We usually encounter this whenever a teacher gives assignment to students. As a student, you must learn how to create your own masterpiece because a self-made thing is better than the one's you've taken credits of. ?Bad Behavior and Bullying It is an act of behaving in a not so good way and treating other student in a wrong way. As a student, you must learn how to be discipline ones because a good attitude brings the best things in life. ? Stealing It is an act of getting something and owning it. A student shouldn't do that kind of thing because it isn't good to take something that doesn't belong to you. Remember that you're one of our country's precious gifts that can help the country's success be even possible so fix yourself!
