Given the significance of the school in a child's development, it is crucial to comprehend how to influence this setting in order to maximize the effectiveness of instruction. Every effort should be made to ensure that the learning environment supports students' achievement if schools really do play a significant role in educating the future generation how to be successful members of society. In the time that the pandemic arose here in our country, a lot of changes happened, particularly in the field of education, and one of the changes was the date of the beginning and end of school days. The end of the school year now is July, which is why in summer time the children are still in school despite the heat of the sun. In this case, many of the children are not feeling comfortable, as are the teachers, which is why the educational process has not been properly conducted. In this scenario, the region released a regional memorandum no. 178, s. 2023 "Dissemination of OASOPS " Memorandum no. 2023-077 re: reiteration of the implementation of modular distance learning as provided in DEP order no. 0378, s. 2022". This is an order where the school heads are given the power to adopt blended or modular distance learning because of the unfavorable learning environment caused by the hot weather. Some of the schools shortened their class hours from the original ones, and others adopted blended and modular distance learning.
