TEACHERS’ GROWTH
ALMER A. LAURETA
The monitoring of a teacher's professional and personal growth is one method that may be used to evaluate the efficiency of the educator in the classroom. Educators should constantly be seeking for methods to improve themselves as educators, in addition to passing on their knowledge and skills to the students they teach. There is a vast range of low-cost methods that may be used to enhance one's personal development. Two examples of this would be going back to school to get a master's degree and attending conferences and seminars that are aimed toward professional development. This institution provides an abundance of opportunities to acquire new knowledge and skills. There are possibilities for teachers to develop professionally via the provision of technical assistance and instructional supervision. These opportunities are provided by head teachers, school administrators, and master teachers. A process of self-improvement that is centered on the individual has the potential to significantly boost the individual's competency as a teacher. One of the most important qualities that helps them progress in their careers as educators is their readiness to learn from others or to get technical assistance. During the instructional supervision session that takes place after a conference, master teachers provide a bonus assistance to teachers in order to motivate them to work on their own professional growth as educators. This, in turn, motivates teachers to strive for excellence in the classroom at all times. Developing one's self-awareness is something that has the potential to be beneficial for everyone, regardless of the field in which they specialize. Additionally, the educator is inspired to achieve even greater success than they have in the past as a result of this purpose.
