With the widespread use of internet, teachers use it to their advantage. The internet provides teachers variety of activities, lessons and information that they can use. You can find almost everything that you need on the internet, such as lesson plans, videos, songs, stories, images, texts, worksheets and anything that you can think of. It is a great way to support teaching and learning. You just need a device and internet connection to download what you need in your class. One thing that you can download on the internet is educational software. Educational software is designed for educational purpose making teaching and learning more effective and more efficient. The use of educational software is advantageous for teachers. Educational software makes the teaching and learning process more interesting and can be used to every subject area. Educational games are educational software that learners of all ages will love, especially the kids. Research shows that game-based learning encourages learners to develop competencies and skills by focusing on the activities of the game. Games provide fun and engaging ways in learning. Learners can learn a variety of important skills, such as problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills. It promotes teamwork, collaboration, and sportsmanship. It also develops learners’ creativity. There are number of educational gaming software that you can play and download. Through educational games learners are learning things without even realizing it, making learning a positive experience and something that they will look forward to.
