An gel es City— Sanguniang KabataanCutcut started the year with generosity as they recommenced their annual educational assistance with a full face-to-face verification of the 350 registered public senior high and college students of Barangay Cutcut.

The verification was convene at the SK-Cutcut office last January 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and all registered students were advised to bring their copy of the registration form, a photocopy of proof of enrollment, a school ID, a 2x2 ID picture, and a ballpen.

Unlike any other educational assistance, all registered students are compelled to conduct a one-day community service before they could receive their cash assi st ance.

Mr. Dennis Duya, SK Chairperson of Barangay Cutcut, is looking forward to touching many students with their project, as he passionately believes that “education is the most powerful tool for everyone."

A total of P1000 cash incentives will be given to the public school students of Barangay Cutcut a week after the verification.

“Malaking tulong na ito sa mga estudyante. Pandagdag baon, allowance, school requirements— Nanggaling din ako sa hirap, and I am looking forward to this, hindi lang sa pera,” SK Duya mentioned.

“Gusto ko tulungan ang kabataan, cause I have a purpose, and that purpose is tulungan sila makapagtapos ng pagaaral kahit sa konting tulong lang," he added.

The Brgy. Cutcut SKs Educational Assistance was started in 2018 and continues to provide assistance to the youth of Barangay Cutcut up to this very date.
