RESILIENT LEADERSHIP

ROMER R. CAO

-

Education system faced different challenges in delivering quality education to all our learners during the time of pandemic. But still the government is making its ways to make education still accessible to all. The department thought of different strategies and modalities suited to the delivery needs of education of every school. Modular, online, blended are some of these modalities.

School leaders are also challenged to play a part in dealing with the teachers, parents, and learners and in making decisions where health is never compromised. Education will never stop. School leaders must be the face of hope and motivation to every person they are interacting with. They must be the source of strength and inspiration equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and positive thoughts in dealing with the school related activities.

As school leaders, it is important to be always proactive and bear in my mind that change is permanent in this world. Leaders must be guided by laws and policies set by the department in making decisions. Performing their functions with full of honesty, dignity, transparency, and perseverance as part of the support the system to colleagues, pupils, teachers and to community people especially in trying times. Leaders play great roles in guiding all leaners traversing the righteous path of their lives. They are the sculpture of the human souls. As leaders let us always put in our minds that education must be running for business purpose aiming for the best profit which is the quality education and the future graduates that will contribute to the economy. Leaders may apply the principle of Human Capital Theory that all personnel in every department specially in education must exert all the efforts in ensuring the return of investments not just money but to give better quality of life to every Filipino.
