ABBY A. DELGADO

Much is expected from teachers since teaching is a noblest profession. Though it is a tough career the community always eyes teachers for they serve as the role model of the children being taken care of in the school. Despite the huge expectations, there are still so much things that we should thank for.

Teachers are the captains of their ship which is the classroom. They perform teachinglearning process competently though learning competency they have in their class are complex. Mastery of the learning skills is one of the key elements that that they teach inside the classroom. Inarguably, teachers must be the most knowledgeable person inside the classroom. The young minds of the pupils are waiting to be filled with information from the lessons prepared every day. Seeing these children’s smiles as they learn can melt the heart of everyone.

Aside from facilitator of learning, teachers are the so called second parents. They do things beyond what is written in our duties and responsibilities. A personal relationship with pupils as their parent exists when pupils feel at ease and comfortable inside the classroom. Getting these pupil’s trust makes a teacher lovey.

With all these herculin task, the most precious gift that we may receive is that each pupil that will go inside the classroom will become a productive citizen of the country. While we are waiting for the day to come, we are contented with a simple smile which makes the day. Be happy to say… joy in teaching reclaimed!
