ICT INTEGRATION IN MAPEH
ALLAH C. BAUTISTA
The use of ICT in MAPEH classes has the potential to increase student engagement, streamline the learning process, and open up new avenues for creative expression and inquiry. MAPEH was confronted with a tremendous challenge when it came to properly using information and communication technology (ICT) for instructional purposes. This challenge was brought about by the sudden shift in the educational environment. It is well known that MAPEH is a subject that often calls for a significant amount of physical engagement and exercises that are practical in nature. In order to facilitate both physical exercise and social interaction, it is mandatory for students to wear different school uniforms while participating in MAPEH classes. In the realm of academia, the topic known as MAPEH comprises not just music and art but also physical education and health. The primary goal of this organization is to encourage the development of persons in our country who are healthy, active, and productive. The purpose of the subject is to give students with foundational information as well as the chance to develop abilities via the implementation of an allencompassing curriculum that incorporates music, art, physical education, and health education. Utilizing many forms of technology in the classroom MAPEH does more than simply enhance traditional teaching techniques; it also prepares students for the digital age by developing digital literacy and providing them with opportunities for creative expression and learning that continues throughout their lives.
