,n the realm of education, fostering a safe and nurturing enYironment is paramount to the holistic deYelopment of students. 7he Department of (ducation Dep(d recogni]es the significance of maintain ing an atmosphere free from aEuse, where Eoth learners and educators can thriYe. Dep(d has estaE lished a comprehensiYe policy frameworN that e[plicitly condemns any form of aEuse within the educa tion system. 7he &hild 3rotection 3olicy Dep(d 2rder 1o. , s. serYes as a cornerstone, outlining guidelines and procedures for preYenting, addressing, and reporting cases of aEuse, e[ploitation, Yiolence, discrimination, and Eullying. 7he implementation of the policy through the &3& has led to a more effectiYe and efficient process of tracNing and reporting cases of child aEuse. %ut the Department¶s unwaYering efforts and interYentions resulted to a significant decrease in the incidences of Eullying. 7hese efforts include the strict implementation of the Dep(d $nti %ullying 3olicy issued through Dep(d 2rder 1o, , s. , and reiterated through Dep(d Memorandum 1o. , s. in response to RepuElic $ct or the $nti %ullying $ct of . 3reYention lies at the core of Dep(d s strategy to uphold ]ero tolerance on aEuse. 7he department conducts regular awareness campaigns, worNshops, and training sessions for teachers, school administrators, and students to educate them aEout recogni]ing, preYent ing, and reporting aEusiYe EehaYior. %y instilling a culture of Yigilance and empathy, Dep(d aims to create a proactiYe enYironment that deters aEuse. Dep(d s steadfast commitment to ]ero tolerance on aEuse is a testament to its dedication to creating safe and conduciYe learning enYironments. ,t continually intensi fies its campaign to moEili]e and educate the learners, parents, teachers and other staNeholders on child protection policy.
