But not for Edgar Allan Guzman and Shaira Diaz the secret lovey dovey couple has been engaged since December 25,2021.

However, last Feb 16,2024 at the episode of Unang Hirit, the couple admitted that theyve been engaged. And in Feb 17,2024 they celebrated their 11th year anniversary.

"Yes, mga Kapuso and mg UH family, Shaira and I are engaged" ghe excitedly shared during the show.

"I respect Shaira a lot, Kung puwede lang naming isa-isahin.Pero I respect Shaira a lot so ni-respect ko lang yung time niya.

"I know na kapag nag-propose ako, baka mag-no ito sa akin, that's the truth.

"Pero naniniwala ako sa pagmamahal niya and alam niya na kapag nag-propose ako sa kanya, pag nag-yes siya, I'm willing to wait.

"Maghihintay ako sa kanya. Sa right time niya , sa gusto niyang goal namin na pupuntahan...I'llwait for her."

Shaira was at the show, when asked if how come they admitted their 2 years of engagem en t .

"Ngayon ko lang nafeel na talagang reding-ready na ako, ready na akong gumawa ng pamilyain the future. Makasama siya habambuhay.

"So, sobrang ready na ako, gusto ko nang ipagsigawan sa mundo kung gaano kami nagmamahalan. Kung gaano ko siya kamahal.

"Itong naganap pong proposal, first time namin ise-share dito sa Unang Hirit na sobrang mahal na mahal ko itong pamilya na itom itong show na 'to."says Sh ai r a.

E A added,:"matanda na po kasi ako,e.

"Kumbaga it's time, kasi ang tagal ko rin itinago.

"Kumbaga, hkndi naman niya deserve na itago.

"Sa ganda niyang yon, sa galing niya, na I'm proud of her , kasi ang dami niha g achievements ngayon and marami g natutuwa sa kanya.

"Kumbaga, parang nagpe-pay off yung pinaghirapan niya, yjng matagal na panahon na hinintay niya, para lang makuha yung mga breaks sa ganun, so ....

"I'm happy kasim wala, para sa akin, nagdecide ako, it's time kumbaga na makita, marinig naman ng mga tao na nagmamahal din ako, di ba?"
