The information age has brought an era wherein all of the knowledge and information that humanity has accumulated throughout the years are on the palm of your hands and one click away. The Internet has truly revolutionise the world as we know it in the academe we are now in an age wherein man has the fastest and the most convenient access to information which would prove to be costly and laborious before, but this has its own setback because as humans we have this this behaviour wherein we tend to take things that are conveniently at our disposal for granted and without value thus we begin to be susceptible to misinformation because we are used to finding facts, answers and information about our curiosities with a click of a button and without thinking twice. Education system is not obsolete in this progressive information age, mere knowing of information is not education. Education is the practice and the very manifestation of our rationality as thinking and communicating species. Science would not be verifiable by mere knowing it is by critical thinking that one becomes educated for education is the verification and the application of various information that was made available for a rational actor. Merely knowing and having access to information renders that information questionable because even if at the click of your finger you could access the library of the world without education you would not understand the process, investigation, causation and the application of those very information. As rational beings we are the incarnation of curiosity in which to arrive and satisfy this constant question mark within us something must first make sense and rationaly make sense because the fact that you know something is very different with the fact that you are something for knowledge's ownership is not manifested thru memory, but understanding only that requires education that wold verify, investigate and apply the information acquired.
