CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT AND ITS EFFECT

Classroom Management is a plan of action that are used to maintain discipline in the classroom that may lead to a positive outcomes. These actions involves the learning activities and orderliness to have a conducive learning environment that support learners in the learning process.
The purpose of classroom management is to enhance appropriate manners and to eliminate or decrease the misbehavior of the learners. This idea of classroom management is broader than the concept of learners discipline, it incorporate all the things that teachers must do in the classroom to encourage learners’ involvement in the activitiy and cooperation in the classroom to create conducive learning environment.Furthermore, classroom management also include reducing learner’s distracting behaviors such as fighting and noise making, close observation, arrangement of classroom materials, and give attention to learners who have poor eyesight, poor reading, poor wrtiting and, shame, dullness, hyperactivity and have poor study habits.
When classroom management is seen in a more wider and holistic sense, incorporating every element of the classroom from learning delivery to learning environment becomes more significant. Thus, creating an orderly classroom, building expectations, persuade the learners interests to cooperate in the learning tasks, and dealing with the procedural demands of the classroom.
With this, the narrow view of classroom management , it deals with just discipline and control but on the other side if we will wider our point of view, classroom management manifests boost engagement, decreases inappropriate and distracting manners, build learners responsibility for their academic tasks and most all, it improve learners’ academic performance. In effect, classroom management icludes how the teachers works, how the class works, how the teacher and the learners word together and how teaching and learning takes place.
