‘Clark, place for family bonding’ – CDC prexy
CLARK FREEPORT —
The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) is promoting this Freeport as a place for family bonding.
During the February 19 flag-raising ceremony, CDC President and Chief Executive Officer Agnes Devanadera emphasized the importance of green and open spaces and efforts to create familyfriendly environments.
"There's a cost to maintaining our parks, but it's worth it. Because then, we can have a brand for the CDC, let's have a brand for Clark— that this is the place for family bonding,”
Devanadera said.
"I encourage all officials and employees of the CDC to visit Clark and bring your families," she added
The CDC president underscored the organization's commitment to financial targets and service to surrounding communities.
"With what we earn, it's only right that we share with the community by making our parks and open spaces accessible to all," Devanadera said.
"I would like to request that our Security Services Group (CDC-SSG) open all parking spaces to outsiders, especially on weekends. Our goal is to encourage people to visit here," she added
During the February 5 flag-raising rites, Devanadera launched the "Green Office" initiative, requiring each division to decorate their workspaces with indoor plants to promote mental wellbeing. Devanadera reiterated the CDC’s commitment to environmental stewardship, highlighting efforts to maintain Clark's green open spaces.
She said these initiatives align with the corporation’s goal of promoting Clark as a vibrant and sustainable live, work, and play community.
