2024 Women's Month Celebration launched

City of San Fernando Mayor Vilma Caluag spearheaded the kick-off activity for the 2024 National Women's Month Celebration held right after the flag raising ceremony in front of the City Hall on March 4, 2024 with its National theme "We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.

Twenty activities have been lined-up for the month-long celebration themed "Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinss :Kakayahan ng Kababaihan Patutunayan," which started today and will culminate on March 31.

Following the event is a presscon held with the department heads and members of the City of San Fernando Gender and Development Focal Point System (GADFPS).

According to Mayor Caluag, all the 20 events will be devoted to women who consistently helped in the development of the society through their abilities.

Also gracing the launch were City of San Fernando Vice Mayor Benedict Jasper

Lagman; City Councilors Rosalie Mendoza, Reggie David, Cristina Lagman; and City Administrator Engr. Nelson Lingat. Partner women leaders from the national government including Dir Elenita Ordonio of the Department of Trade and Industry DTI Pampanga and Director Mary Michelle Quiambao of the Department of Science and Technology Pampanga, supported the activity.

Singer Dave Lamar defended his wife Morrisette Amon for her alleged poor performance in an event.

A director for private events posted on his social media:(as published) in one of the corporate events directed recently, we had a guest singer performed four songs in the finale number.

She is known for belting extremely difficult songs and her ability to ‘whistle’ala Mariah Carey has been well documented. Because of this, she has been labelled as the ‘phoenix’.

“Naturally, we were expecting no less than a fiery performance from her.

Sadly, her muchvaunted| vocal power appeared to be missing that night. She seemed zapped of energy, acted uninterested, and sounded distant and cold."

It was as if all enthusiasm escaped her the moment she stepped on stage.
