THE VALUE OF EDUCATION

-

SHERLEY S. DE LEON

People throughout the world use education as a vital tool to ensure that life on Earth is balanced. It is the tool that gives everyone the motivation to pursue success in life and the capacity to overcome obstacles. It is the sole method available for gaining knowledge and honing skills in any given profession as needed. It enables one to achieve exquisite bodily, mental, and spiritual harmony. Every child has an equal right to an education from birth, thus they must attend school when they are old enough. Any nation's ability to thrive and flourish is reliant on the caliber of the educational system established for the younger generation.

Our lives are filled with learning that starts at birth. Children who receive their basic health, nutritional, and psycho-social needs met will develop and perform better than those who are not as fortunate. Children can acquire all skills when they have a friendly environment in their school, and only certified teachers can create this environment. A child who develops well physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and intellectually during the early years is more likely to be a happy and productive member of society than one who does not.

Education shapes individuals into leaders by teaching them how to lead with emotions and genuine ideals in addition to imparting knowledge about (college) courses. People with education are better able to distinguish between good and wrong, which lowers the crime rate.

Today, having an education is a basic requirement for everyone to lead a fulfilling life. It is crucial to our ability to utilize technical services and systems. People with education can succeed in a variety of careers and areas of life. Without a strong education, one will not be able to make an adequate living. Education offers the possibility to live independently and shelter against financial storms and wrong decisions.

Without schools, it would be impossible to provide education. Students and teachers come together at school. Students gain knowledge on how to adapt to society in their daily lives. School is a major factor in helping students broaden their perspectives. Pupils acquired virtues like tenacity, sincerity, truthfulness, tolerance, discipline, and obedience. Students have the opportunity to practice discipline at school.

Nothing can ever take away from you the security that education brings to life. Having a college degree and being well-educated raises your chances of finding better employment and opens up opportunities for you.
