LOVE FOR TEACHING

VIRNA LIZA A. MATITO, LPT

-

As soon as I walked into the classroom on the first day of the new school year, I was giddy with joy and enthusiasm. The opportunity to educate and inspire young minds has always piqued my curiosity. I could tell this year would be different from others by the eager and curious looks on my student's faces. Their fervour and energy fuelled my enthusiasm for teaching and reminded me often of the reasons I first gravitated toward this profession. I've held the conviction that teaching is about more than just imparting knowledge; it's also about encouraging a love of learning throughout my career. My goal is to establish an atmosphere that inspires kids to inquire, investigate novel concepts, and engage in critical thinking regarding their surroundings. It is an unparalleled experience to witness the spark of comprehension ignite in a student's eyes, and it is this motivation that keeps me striving for constant improvement as an educator. I've always been fascinated by how education can change people, and I'm always looking for innovative approaches to make learning interesting and approachable for all of my students. Whether it's through group discussions, interactive exercises, or multimedia materials, my objective is to establish an inclusive classroom where each student feels respected and encouraged. My goal is to create an environment that encourages children to ask questions, look into new ideas, and think critically about what they see.
