“CULTIVATING ETHICAL INNOVATION: INTEGRATING CORE VALUES IN INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION”

- FRANCIS CAPILI CARREON

Teachers can develop a generation of technologists who are not just competent but also diligent and dedicated to using technology for the greater benefit by incorporating values into industrial technology education. How may values be incorporated into industrial technology education instruction? applying instructional techniques that promote value-based reflection. This could involve group discussions, role-playing, and arguments that push students to think about the moral implications of technology. Offering assignments that call for students to create solutions with an emphasis on accessibility, sustainability, and moral technology use. Students may benefit from this understanding of how their work affects the real world. Evaluating students not only on their technical skills but also on their ability to apply ethical reasoning and consider the broader implications of their projects.

Instilling an awareness of social responsibility in students through community service projects that use industrial technologies to address local challenges is another crucial component. Students' moral, ethical, and social development is supported by values education. It gives individuals the information and abilities needed to make wise choices, demonstrate empathy, and benefit society. Values are connected to academic learning and future professional practices by allowing students to see the relevance of values in real-life circumstances through the integration of values into industrial technology education.
