Sometimes we want to follow the timeline we created for ourselves to be fitted on the standard of our society and the influence of peer pressure as well. The reason we tend to forget that “Everything happens for a reason in God’s perfect timing”, the time you’re already stronger and braver than before. Courageous and resilient in times of difficulties, confident and diligent to withstand any obstacles that comes in your way and the long patience you’ve acquired by waiting at the right time and will be grateful for any blessings you’ve received from the Almighty God. So, what should you do when you experience the pain of rejection in life? How to move on from the disappointments? Let’s find out by reading this article full of hope, positivity and wisdom in life. I strongly believe that you’ve read this fr a great purpose and I hope to inspire you in every aspect of your life. Greetings! A blessed and blissful life to the person reading this right now, I am Yllane D. Fuertez, a living testament of how God showed me the beautiful benefits of rejection turning to blessings and how negative words of other people can be a fuel of hope and a steppingstone to a successful life. Everyone in this world have experienced the bitter pain of rejection, in different time, place and events in our life. Always remember that rejection can be a blessing in disguise. Rejection is an opportunity to refine you holistically. It’s just like writing a book, thesis or dissertation manuscript paper in your post-graduate degree. There are lots of revisions needed before the book binding and submission, you need to experience the pain and rejection first so that when you obtain your post graduate degree it will be a blissful feeling. Rushing into something can hinder the blessings, allow yourself to accept that everything happens in this world has a great purpose to shape your character that you’ll be able to share to the new generation as their survival guide in life. I have a short story to share with you, a true story of how rejection is indeed a redirection. I always have a lot of plans in every step that I want to do, to avoid mistakes and ambiguity. When I graduated in College, I planned to apply for work and submitted resume in Private Schools in our hometown and submitted other resumes on Private companies. After the interview and Demonstration Teaching the HR told me that they will send me email or text message proceeding on another step of application. Days, months and years have passed, no one called or send me a message from these Private Schools and Companies. I felt bluer than blue because I was thinking “Am I not enough?” “Am I not good to teach?”, these are the emotions that I felt, my plans were rejected. God’s plans are bigger and greater than our plans, after my rejection to my career path he redirected me into something greater and bigger than my plans. I was given an opportunity to apply in the Pioneering Batch of K to 12, Senior High School in the Department of Education. By the month of May I received messages from the HR Department that I’ll be starting my journey as a Permanent Teacher. Ever since that day I’m grateful for those who rejected me, because I got redirected into a blessing I didn’t expect.
