How can you move on if your role is mirroring your real life?

Well, I just see to it that I drew the line, it’s work for me as a character. I try to separate my real life from work.

Was there a hesitation at first when this was offered to you?

No, no… people from GMA-7 know from the very start that I like doing out of the box characters and challenging roles. It was not an issue for me. Tsaka sabi ko nga, I guess I’m not the only actor in the whole world na kumbaga gumanap ng role na medyo similar na nangyayari sa totoong buhay nila.

But this is not based from your lifestory?

No, it’s just so happened that meron ding nangyayari sa buhay ko. But it’s different from what happened to me.

As a chubby Emma, do your wear a fat suit during tapings?

Yes, to make me look bigger for Emma’s character. Meron po akong suot na latex na body suit. Actually, whole body po yun: arms, backs, stomach and hips, kaya medyo mainit.

How’s your teleserye faring in the rating game?

We’re doing very good. We’ve been getting very good support from the audience and good ratings.

How did you achieve yung stunning look mo ngayon?

Well, it’s not a secret. I’ve undergone the Belo Liposuction Procedure. I just choose wisely what I eat and for maintenance, I often go to Belo clinics for laser machines na lang for toning and tightening.

Do you exercise?

To be honest right now wala, I don’t have time talaga `cuz of the very busy schedule. But I’m on a diet plan.

When you go home how do you shake off Emma?

I don’t know, parang siguro since bata pa ako I’ve been doing this for so long that I just knew how to draw the line. When it’s cut, it’s cut. Ganoon lang. Basta I just know that at the end of the day, pag tapos na ang taping, pag-uwi ko nanay na ako at hindi na ako artista.

Hindi ba kayo nagkakasakitan sa bugbogan scenes ninyo ni Ryza Cenon?

No, naman. We have a fight director on the set, so everything is choreographed well na hindi kami nagkakasakitan.

How do you manage your time?

Fortunately, I have my mom with me, who also looks after my children when I’m at work. I also have a very dependable helper, who has been with me for five years now. Basta pag walang work , I see to it that I spend quality time with my children and I also see to it that whenever my children has important event in school I tried to be there.

Were there instances that people would approach you personally just to share their story of infidelity?

Naku, madami, even with my social media accounts, I would really get a lot of messages who would share their stories that they personally went through, yung iba ang parents nila ganoon din daw ang nangyari. It’s very heartwarming to hear from them saying that they look up to me and that they find strength in how I handled the situation. Although, recently, parang some people got a little disappointed that I dropped the cases but you know, siguro as a mother marami ka talagang dapat tiisin pag yan ang gusto ng anak mo. But I’m still finding a way to push through with my personal fight.

Do you have regrets?

I have no regrets. Feeling ko everything happens for a reason. Lahat ito kumbaga nakalatag na dapat kong pagdaanan sa buhay ko. No matter how painful and ugly it may seem, I still feel that I‘m in a better place right now, so parang this experience made me a better and stronger woman.

Will we see the same transformation with Emma?

Yes, very soon.

Are you aware na may articles tungkol sa court fashion mo, kagaya noong fierce look mo at red lips?

Talaga? Hindi ko naman pinlano pero I don’t know, ever since naman din parang red is really my “go to” color. With my lipstick and accessories, red is really my color.

Is there still a chance for reconciliation?

Wala na po. I’m actually filing for annannulment na din, but my husband and I are, you know, in good terms naman with regards our children. So, okay na po `yun.
