World Bank team midayeg sa Aloguinsan
ANG mga community volunteer sa Barangay Angilan ug Barangay Esperanza sa lungsod sa Aloguinsan mainiting ninghangop nila ni Pia Peeters ug Malou Padua sa World Bank (WB) sa miaging bulan
Ang duha ka mga barangay gibisita human sa ilang malampusong paghatag og gahom sa komunidad ug pagtapos sa ilang mga proyekto sa barangay.
Ang sub-project sa Barangay Angilan mao ang 400-linear meter concrete access road nga nagkantidad og 1.7 million.
Ang sub-projects sa Esperanza mao ang duha ka 18-meter foot bridges nga nagkantidad og kapin sa P1.1 million.
Duha ka managlahing focus group discussions (FGD) sa WB representatives gipahigayon uban sa mga miyembro sa Municipal Inter-Agency Committee (MIAC) ug mga boluntaryo sa komunidad ang gihimo sa WB nga nipadayag sa ilang pagdayeg sa komunidad.
Atol sa FGD, ang mga boluntaryo nipadayag sa ilang kalisdanan nga nasugatan labi na sa unang higayon sa pagpatuman sa proyekto.
“Naglisod mi sa procurement kay pag mag- canvass mi og mga materyales, dili mi tagdon kay dili makatuo ang mga supplier nga kaming ordinaryong tawo mao ang mamalit sa materyales alang sa among proyekto nga access road. “For me and the rest of my group, there is really a need for us to go down to the community for us to see and listen to the real needs of the people because most of the time we are very engrossed with paper works in the office,” matod ni Canino.
Si Vice Mayor Cesare Ignatius G. Moreno ngpasalamat nila ni Peeters ug Padua, DSWD ug Kalahi-CIDSS staff bahin sa pinansiyal ug technical nga suporta nga nagtabang sa komunidad sa pagpalambo sa ilang panginabuhian.
Ang proseso sa Kalahi-CIDSS sa paghatag og gahom sa komunidad naghimo sa mga tawo nga madasigon sa mga kalibokan.
“They have now sense of ownership and they value the sub-projects that they worked hard for the good of the community,” matod ni Moreno.

“I am extremely impressed by how they talked about the Kalahi-CIDSS process and what they learned from it,” matod ni Peeters.

Ang Aloguinsan nakadawat sa kinatibuk-ang punod nga P12,442,500 sa unang cycle ug nakahimo sa pagkompleto sa walo ka sub-projects sama sa footbridges, access roads ug solar streetlights nga nahimong ehemplo sa ubang komunidad sa nasod.
