Ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VII nasugod na sa pagpanghatag og cash gifts nga nagkantidad og P100,000 ngadto sa 103 centenarians (nagedad og 100 pataas) sa Central Visayas region.
“As of this report, 69 centenarians in region 7 have already received the cash gift and hopefully we could finish the pay-out to the remaining centenarians by next month,” matod ni Regional Director Ma. Evelyn B. Macapobre.
Si Macapobre nagkanayon nga ang Local Government Units pinaagi sa City o Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office nanguna sa pag-ila ug validation sa centenarians samtang ang DSWD Field Office VII nidumala sa probisyon sa cash gift. Sa 103 validated centenar_
ians, 64 ang gikan sa Cebu, 35 gikan sa Bohol ug 4 gikan sa Siquijor.
“We also encourage the families or relatives of the centenarian to use this cash gift for the needs of the centenarian,” dugang ni Macapobre.
