DEREK WAY LABOT SA PAGBUGALBUGAL
Kampo sa actor nga si Derek Ramsay mipasabot nga inosente kini sa nahitabong pagbugalbugal ngadto sa female presenter sa 43rd Gabi ng Parangal sa Metro Manila Film Festival niadtong Disyembre 27.
Base sa pamahayag ni Atty. Joji Alonso, award-winning producer sa Quantum Films nga aduna ray nitunol sa actor og P20 sa iyang pagsaka sa stage aron sa pagdawat sa iyang special award.
Matod pa wa sab masayod si Ramsay kon unsay iyang nadag-an ug iyang nalang nadunggan nga gitawag ang iyang pangalan sa maong female award presenter.
Si Derek maoy Male Stars of the Night nga makadawat og ganti nga P20,000 apan nasipyat ang maong host ug iyang nasulti nga P20 ang cash prize.
“When his name was called, he didn’t even know what he won.
“Puro kami biruan sa side namin. Nagulat na lang siya na tinawag ang name niya.
“He was not aware what the joke was all about (people laughing at the 20 buckle).
“When he reached the foot of the stairs, Arnell Ignacio and Mr. [Noel] Ferrer, who were seated together, gave him the 20-peso bill and told him to say thank you and poke fun at the 20-peso prize.
“He simply obliged. But with not the least intention to offend anyone, kasi hindi nga siya aware about the buckle, kaya when he returned to his seat, he asked us pa, ‘What did i just win?’
“Then we teased him that he treats all of us with his cash prize,” matod pa ni Alonso.
