Nursing student sa CDU napiling Ms. Mandaue ‘18

Usa ka 19 anyos nga tinunan sa kursong nursing sa Cebu Doctor’s University maoy napiling Miss Mandaue 2018 atol sa pageant night didto sa sports complex niadtong Dominggo sa gabie.

Gipilde ni Gabriella Carballo ang laing 11 ka mga kandidata sa maong kompetisyon.

Sa iyang tubag sa Q and A si Carballo nisaad nga motabang sa paglimpyo sa Mandaue.

Sa kompetisyon, gipanguta ang napiling Top 6 kon sa unsang paagi aron maayong mapatuman ang ilang adbokasiya: kon isip pagka- Miss Mandaue 2018 o pagkapili nga SK Chairman sa ilang mga barangay.

“For me, the better vehicle to push for my advocacy would be to be Miss Mandaue 2018. I am here in front of you vying for this position, so I can spread word about my advocacy which is environmental sanitation and awareness of Mandaue City,’ tukbag ni Carballo.

Dugang niya nga iyang buhaton ang iyang adbokasiya pinaagi sa pagpahibawo sa katawhan kalabot sa maong problema ug paghimo og mga klase kalabot niini.

“We always see traffic as one of our main problems but the problem that is a bit hidden, that we really don’t put much focus on, is environmental sanitation. So if you all allow me to be your Miss Mandaue 2018, I vow to aid the Mandaue City Government, aid in their classes, and clean-ups and I promise that me, there, just in a regular clothes, no make- up , no heels, I will help clean up Mandaue City. I believe that a cleaner city is a healthier city and healthy minds create healthy change,” saad ni Carballo sa iyang tubag.

Laing mga awards nga nahakot ni Carballo mao ang Best in Funwear/Production number, Miss Skycable, Miss Maayo, Best in Runway, Best in Evening Gown ug Texter’s Choice Award.

Ang napiling first runner-up sa kompetisyon mao si Nicole Borromeo ug ang 2nd runner up mao si Regine Garcia.
