BUDGET NI LUIGI WA TIBHANGI

Giaprobahan sa Mandaue City Council ang P2,454,000 budget alang sa 2018 nga gipangayo ni Mayor Luigi Quisumbing atol sa special session kagahapon sa buntag, Disyembre 17. Tipik sa budget mao ang pagpaumento sa tabang pinansyal alang sa senior citizens, gikan sa P6,000 ngadto na sa P8,000.

Matod ni Vice Mayor Carlo Pontico C. Fortuna, nga majority sa mga konsehal niuyon sa maong proposal ni Quisumbing nga dungagan ang og P2,000 ang ayuda para sa mga senior citizens.

“There was an ordinance approving the increase of the financial assistance for the seniors because we know that their needs and their expenses especially for their medicines grows higher every year,” pagpasabot ni Fortuna.

Si Konsehal Ernie Manatad mihatag sab og komento mahitungod sa maong proposal nga giaprobahan. “So far ni-agree man mi sa budget,” matod niya.

“There was a request from the Mayor’s Office to raise the financial assistance from P6,000 to P8,000 which accordingly gipasaran sa dayon og ordinance ni (Councilor) Nilo Seno to back up the request,” subay niya.

Sa unang pagbasa sa budget, kuhaan unta sa oposisyon ang mao nga budget.

Apan human nila masayri nga ang usa sa mga giumentuhan sa budget mao ang gahin alang sa senior citizens ug persons with disability, ila kining giaprobahan sa ikaduha ang katapusang pagbasa. /
