DSWD 7 mi-validate sa SAP beneficiaries
Kapin sa usa ka libo ka mga kawani sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VII gikan sa regional ug provincial offices ang gipakatap sa tibuok rehiyon aron pag-validate sa beneficiaries sa iyang emergency cash aids ubos sa Social Amelioration Program (SAP).
Ubos sa Memorandum Circular No. 09, Series of 2020, ang DSWD maoy responsable sa paghimo sa SAP validation sulod sa 15 ka adlaw gikan sa pagdawat sa mga dokumento sa pagkakompleto sa local government units (LGU) sa pag-apudapod sa emergency subsidy.
“We are assigned to do the validation to avoid bias and ensure transparency of data,” pasabot ni DSWD 7 Regional Director Rebecca P. Geamala.
Ang hulga sa Covid-19 wala makabalda sa mga kawani sa paghimo sa ilang tahas.
Si Joan Culanculan, community facilitator sa Tabuelan, Cebu nipaambit sa iyang kasinatian atol sa validation.
“Usa sa struggle namo sa validation kay ang gilay-on sa mga balay. Tungason pa sa bukid unya naay usahay nga inig adto namo kay walay tawo sa balay, so balikon nasad namo inig ugma para ma-validate gyud ang maong pamilya," matod ni Culanculan.
Samtang, si Sharon Escabarte, area coordinator sa Kalahi-CIDSS sa Antequera, Bohol nagkanayon, “As DSWD staff, we are trained to be flexible in our job. Most of us are not social workers but we have one goal as of this moment - to be of service to the poor and vulnerable sector. The validation is tiring but when you see the faces of deserving beneficiaries, the exhaustion and struggles are all worthwhile.”
Base sa Mayo 20, 2020, nga talaan, dunay 200 ka mga pamilya ang gikataho nga angayan hatagan ug 47 ka pamilya ang nagdoble ang ilang nadawat nga hinabang sa lalawigan sa Sugbo ug Negros Oriental nga gikataho nga dili usab angay mahatagan sa hinabang sa SAP.
